Default Rear seat entertainment

Considering the purchase of a 2016 LX570. I am up in the air about the rear seat entertainment system. My concern is that we are currently using rear facing child seats. Does anyone know if the screens are removable, or if there are any protective covers available for the screens?

Don't waste money. They are almost identical to LC which I have just bought. No choice on LC and you need to take them. They are not removable, come with a cover. For the price difference get your kid an ipod. Better and cheaper. As well you will enjoy more space and easier to fold seats down when trying to get to the third row.

Do we have a choice with the LX? I definitely do not want the rear entertainment, but, my sales lady said they are all biker the same. Hmm

Good to know. I feel like if I can build it online without it, they could order that build for me.

We recently got a 2016 Black on Cabernet without Rear Seat Entertainment as no one will use it. Virtually every dealership in Denver or near Denver didn't stock any with RSE. The only reason we waited a month was to get the color combo we wanted.

Just get 2 ipad pro, its cheaper, and you can keep upgrading it in the future instead of stuck with the OEM one; it sure looks nice, but not very practical , especially when you want to lift the seat up
