Has anybody taken their third rows seats out of their 2013 Lexus LX570? Lexus tell me it can't be done as it may upset some of the car electronics - Please help - THANYOU
Do a search as there are many threads about this. Some successful but it is not for the casual "seat remover"! Lots is involved, more than I wanted to go through!

Hi Greg, I am trying to find out if the notes / pictures supplied pertain to a 2013 LX570 as these seats do an electronic fold up and down. I will buy a LX570 providing I can get rid of these seats. Appreciate the help. THANK YOU

All of the LX570, from the first year, use the same electric folding mechanism. This stuff can be removed but it is not a casual undertaking. I just lived with these seats on my two LX570 units
I remved the left side in less than 20 minutes. If I ever want to put it back in it might take 30 minutes. Anyone with a decent set of hand tools and a bit of mechanical know-how can do it.

I have been looking at the LX570 or RX350, down in Australia. For the last 16 years I have had an 80 series Sahara and done 3 major trips around the country on a lot of "real dirt". But now running out of country and wonder if i should go to a more city car (I live in Sydney). So what if any withdrawal symptoms did you go through when migrating from the 470 to the 350? This may help me decide which way to go.

Not a 350 but a RX450h and did not like it. Traded for a new 2013 Cayenne S
2008 LX570 with the standard power operated 3rd row.
If I lived in SYD and didn't need a true off-road rig I wouldn't have an LX570. Too big for the city and gobbles too much petrol. The RX350 is a superb city rig. Maybe a Prado? Does AUS get the GX460?

Yes we only get the Landcruiser 200 as 460 petrol or 4.5 diesel and then only the Lexus as a 5.7 pertol. Again thank you
