I have a lx570 2008 and i replace all the lights to hid HI/LOW/FOG

when i finish installing the low beam lights The AFS indicator start Blinking and stopped working

Evey time i start the engine it works for about 2 minutes maybe a mile but then stop working

please help me dont know what to do

 

Did you cut any wires or make some changes in the wiring? You need to give more information on what physical changes you made other than just replaceing one bulb for another.

 

no i didn’t cut anything, just plug in the new system, they are the same bulb type (h11)

the only difference is that hid bulb are longest than normal bulbs but they fit perfect

does someone knows what means the blinking AFS indicator because i search the entire manual and doesn’t even mention it

 

If you will Google: Lexus AFS light

You will find it involves the adaptive light Lexus uses for when you turn the wheel. Are the longer bulbes hitting something and triggering the AFS error?

Anyway, you are not alone as other whole did this HID upgrade are having the same problems
