Default Lexus LX470

Have a 2004 Lexus LX470 , needs GPS up dating were do I find the CD unit for the GPS on the vehicle ?

Set the front passenger seat all the way forward and tilted up from the back. You'll find the CD player under the seat. Use a nickel to undo the 2 plastic fasteners.

You may be still able to download and / or print the owner's manual from the support section of lexus.com.

Thanks Steve , bought this LX470 a year ago second hand to tow my tandem trailer for my vintage cars , not too many LX470 models here in New Zealand

Steve , My LX470 is of course right-hand drive but have looked under both front seats with them right forward and only the actuator units for the set functions there -- is it under the floor carpet on my driver side there feels like a box under the carpet but you would have to remove the complete set that is remove the four hold down bolts on the seat slide rails to get access to under the floor carpet , no owners manuals came with the vehicle .

So the GPS drive apparently moved from '01 to '04...

I'd log onto ih8mud.com and ask the question in the 100 series forum.
