'06 LX470 Faulty Side Mirror Control Switch
Lots of chatter on this topic on this thread as well as IH8MUD -- but.... my side view mirrors will not adjust via the L/R switch to the left of the steering wheel. The power fold function does work but neither the left nor the right mirror will adjust.
I've removed the switch, disassembled the unit, cleaned it exactly as recommended, reinstalled -- but unfortunately, they still don't work. Perhaps not a huge deal but multiple family members drive the vehicle so a major inconvenience -- is anyone aware of what the OEM part number to replace this switch is? And if any aftermarket sources are available? Google and eBay haven't been much help.
Thanks in advance.

One other thing to check-- are any other accessories not working? Such as the memory seat buttons?
My other car is an ES300 and both my power mirrors plus seat memory (just the memory buttons, not the seat power operation) quit. I swapped the "memory ECU" inside the dash with a used part from eBay, and everything came back to life. That said, I have no idea if the LXs have the memory ECU, but it's just another direction to consider if the new switch doesn't help.
Best wishes!

I have the same problem with my 2007 LX470. The Lexus dealer said in that both failed at the same time that the fault, most likely, was the switch and not the motors. I plan to use a meter to check the internal functioning of the switch. I've looked for replacements but have had no success. The part isn't cheap.
