Default New LX470 teething issues

Hi guys, I just drove from Sydney to Brisbane to get a mint 2004 LX470.

On the way home it developed a rattle from the front end when I hit rough patches of road. I increased tyre pressure and the rattle is more audible. Of course this is with windows down.

The Suspension is raising and lowering fine so hopefully it is not anything to do with those expensive accumulators! Any thoughts? Sounds like a clickety clack as soon as road is not smooth.

Default Noisy LX470 on Dirt Roads

Sounds like worn out shocks or loose linkages. Check all your suspension hardware for worn bushes.

Sometimes the UCA joint will wear out. In the states, we change the UCA's to extended racing type with uniball joints.

Most likely it will be a process of elimination. Let us know what you find out.
