The standard replacement alternator from the Lexus dealer is a remanufactured Denso (part 270605026084). Does anyone have comments about how any alternatives to that part, such as the Ultima 15140 from O'Reilly, would compare?

I'd expect both to be remanufactured Denso's. I'd read a bit on the 100 series section of ih8mud.com as alternator stuff gets posted every couple of weeks.. Iirc, you could also install a 120 or 140A (?) alternator from a Sequoia for about the same price.
