2002 LX470 5 lights on: ABS, BRAKE, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF, and Traction
Hi,
I bought a 2002 LX470.
Symptoms:
- Delayed shifting of 1st and 2nd gear.
- Does not go into 3rd gear or above.
Dash Lights:
1. ABS
2. BRAKE
3. TRACTION
4. VSC TRAC
5. VSC OFF
My scanner from Harbor Freight Cen-Tech could not read the ABS codes for some reason. It's going to mechanic tomorrow, but just wanted to check on the forum first and see if anyone has experienced the same.

My money is on a short in the wiring somewhere...I had the same issue due to wires chafing in the harness going between the body and the tailgate...I've also read about a short in the mirror wiring recently on MUD.
Your code reader showed nothing since the truck didn't throw any codes.
I would take a look at wiring to the tranny, given your driveability symptoms, and it may take a dealer with TechScan to figure out what's not working.
