I later added the chrome wheels and the gold package.
That's all the mods. The LX came fully loaded, so not much more to add. My wife calls the ride "like first class seating on Lufthansa"!

I had it done at Sound Innovations in Hayward http://www.soundinnovations.com/
They did a top notch job. They fabricated a custom bezel to go around the headunit, and finished in in a way that it looks totally integrated (like it's right out of the factory!). When I get a chance I'll post a better pic (just got myself a Canon Digital Rebel 350D.

Yes, there are still some leftover TRD kits for the LX/LC avail. I have one of those kits and plan to install this month. Use the search, there are a few members with the TRD kit.

New owner here
2003 LX470 (hers) but its my money
Sand Dollar Pearl/tan
XM, RES DVD system.
Looking to install HID (love it on my LS, gotta have it on the LX)
Can the dealer install a rear spoiler or better to get it done from a non-Lexus shop ? Love the spoiler on the LX. I think it makes it look even more awesome

Traded the "99 river rock green lx470 for a '03 pearl white lx470. The trans on the '99 was going and I wanted the infrared hud because I live in deer country. It works! I am surprised at the desire for more power in the newer lx's. The '99 wasn't slow and the '03 seems to have plenty of get up and go (for a truck). I live at 6500 feet so I'm down around 20% hp from you sea level guys. Yes I'm a geezer but I do drive an "87 carrera 3.2 so I do have some appreciation for fast cars.

Detmich1, I understand the issue with towing, picked up a horse in Missouri and delivered some Alpacas to Oklahoma. Gas mileage was 9-10 mpg and power was challenged (this was the '99). Since then we bought a '04 F350 6 liter turbocharged diesel for the horse trailer and the stock trailer. Haven't towed more than 6-7 tons but it seems to not notice the weight. Of course diesel mileage is impacted.

Front lip spoiler
1994 Toyota DX 2WD
