New FULL Leather Seats and Accessories under $450
Hey Fellas,
I just installed new Leather seats for my Mom's 97 LX450 for under $450, all four seats, head rest and even door arm rest, shipped
The company is based in China via Ebay ( I know, I know wife yelled at me at first , until she saw the final product ) and has offices in Canada and Texas, Great Customer Service and turn around time. seatsshop01@gmail.com or ebay search seatsshop, tell them Jim sent you
Prior to Steaming
Wife helping me steam out the wrinkles, she loves her news seats
Here is the thread I posted for my wife's ES300, the install is pretty much the same. But the LX has many more pieces https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...0-shipped.html
I have absolutely no affiliation with this company except I am a two time happy customer

Actually the G50 gear box with hydraulic clutch started in 1987, but with my upgraded Gate Shift Kit and Derlin Coupler, my G50 buddies swear my car has a G50 gear box, until they press the cable clutch.
Funny me too, I had a 87 944s, it was a real fun car except for the damn water leak into the engine, but it was nice and torquee for a 4 banger.
If you do go with an 80's 911, try to find a 3.2, best years are 87-89, G50 Gear Box, second would be 84-86, 3.2. they all have the programmable DME to beaf up the horses.
If you ever need some pointers come over to Pelican Parts . com 911 forum, I am a regular there.

I used to browse pelican parts all the time. I have consistently had my es300, and now my gs300, but have always had another car for a month of two. Two summers ago i was dead set on this 912, but ended up not getting it as i was moving to cleveland. Last summer i found a 944, but started an internship. Needless to say i have given up on getting another car until I'm done with school and it makes more sense to have a 3rd car.

Yeah, set your priorities, you have plenty of time:
Here is my baby with new shoes:
with FUCHS replicas 17"s, by the time I'm done she will be brand new again, a project of love and therapy

I remember talking to an older guy who had a 79 he had owned since new and he said he always brought his car to the dealer for everything and had 4 2 inch binders with paper work, he said he didn't work on them but he sure enjoyed driving it. He also said he was having a hard time tracing an almost constant oil leak and the dealer could solve the issue, but it was only a drip or two, never anything major. I was just impressed that he owned the car since new

I know the leak, that year has a cross crank bolt that comes loose, only way to fix it is tear the engine apart, most will live with it. Hell, it is a 911, it supposed to leak, funny but my car doee not leak

LoL, I put seat heaters in my HIDs :-P
Nope, the head rests are the same color all around, even the door arm rests.

Well, i would say the shade I chose was lighter in color, but with use and dirt, it comes close.
As far as the texture, the new skin are much thicker, almost double the thickness and more durable. So far Mom's loves her new leathers.
Cheers,
Jim
