I need to replace the driver's front door speaker for a 2001 lexus lx470, the speaker by the driver's foot. I have no idea how to tackle this and just need to repalce this one speaker. I'll go with an aftermarket speaker, i just want to fix it until we trade it in. Anyone have any input on this. Anyone have the idea as to the speaker size, and if it's just a simple connect two wires as it is with the speakers in other cars? I feel like it's a lot harder in this one for some reason. o i also have navigation, if that matters. Any advice at all would be great.I did search, but its just about people replacing subwoofers.

I'm sure this has been handled already but for anyone else it's a pretty simple fix. The door panel comes off with a couple of screws and some push in connectors. The speaker is a 6.5" aftermarket equivalent. I have a complete write up coming - tlcfaq.com

I just used the glue-stick fix i saw on ih8mud, its back to normal
