Default Auto leveling question

I might be asking a question here that is obvious to most on here. I have a 2002 lx470. I noticed the other day that when I had all 7 of us in there it seemed to adjust the suspension a few times when I was stopped or parked. I am just wondering if this is normal. I haven't had the truck that long so I am still learning some things about it. Thank You

Adjust, yes. Several times? Hmm... I don't know.

I notice mine doing the same thing when I stop at stoplights - even when I am alone in the car. Not all the time, but it does happen. I assume with 7 people in the car, there will be more need for leveling. Does it happen when you are alone in the car?

I've only noticed it maybe once when I'm alone. Usually just when the truck is full.

Sounds normal then.

That's completely normal; you have nothing to worry about.

Yes. I noticed mine 2003 LX470 doing the same thing. I was going to work and it was just me in the car and I noticed adjusting in the garage before I pulled out. So it is normal?

Totally normal.

The suspension actually adjusts more than we are likely to notice. Especially when you have a heavy load, the suspension will adjust as it works to reach a constant level plane.

My 98 did it all the time, at least once a day even if there was one person inside. The 06 practically never does it with one person, and sometimes does it fully loaded. Apparently in both cases the AHC is healthy.... Go figure.

My height control light is off and my 470 is in Lo position, the on/off button will not allow me to move the height to Normal or High...What does this mean, I need my suspension or struts or shocks replaced?? Any information would be greatly appreciated. My baby has 300K miles, runs great no problem (just normal maintenance) since I purchased her new in 2002.

AHC = Active Height Control. Infers dynamic rather than static.

My driveway has an incline. Mine adjusts frequently.
