Default Please help! 02 LX470 navigation/radio/ac stopped working (lost power)?

I started my LX470 earlier, then about a minute later plugged my cellphone charger into the cigarette lighter outlet.. It made the nav screen flash, and then went completely blank along with the clock. None of the buttons from the bottom to the top work. Checked the small fuses under the hood everything seems ok... has this happened to anyone else? Is there another fuse panel with other fuses? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Default Fuse Locations

There is an index at the end of Lexus Owner's Manual.

Fuse types, Fuse box and Fuse locations are listed there.

If you need an owner's manual, it can be downloaded from the lexus owner's link on the lexus.com website.

It will be better to proceed checking the fuses, with the help of the owner's manual.

Default RE: fuse locations

Thanks for the reply, was hoping for something a little more direct and detailed.. I unfortunately do not have the owner's manual, and can't find it on lexus.com .. I must be overlooking something. Thanks

Default Owner's Manual Link

Fuse Box Locations:

Engine Compartment
Driver's side kick panel
Passenger's side kick panel

Fuse numbers, ampere ratings and diagrams are somewhat too detailed to list here.

My model year of LX470 is different from yours and, the layout and specifications of fuses may not be the same.

Suggest going to the following link in lexus.com and register to download the Owners Manual for your model year:

https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/home

That will be the first step.

Other members may chime in.

it's unavailable online right now. I didn't look around passenger side kickpanel for any fuse panels. I read somewhere that someone had the problem and it was the CIG fuse, a 15amp, I'm just not sure exactly where it's located.

In my manual, the location of CIG fuse is # 32 on the Driver's side kick panel - top row second from left.

Fuse numbers 31 to 52 are listed to be in the panel.

The location of CIGAR 15 Amp fuse from the manual link you had posted is #31 in the Driver's side kick panel.

Nav screen and ac controls are not tied into cig outlet fuse, you are looking for something "bigger" than a fuse, or multiple fuses. What did you plug into the outlet?

edit, NM, I see you said cell phone charger.

HAve you had anything done to the vehicle recently?

I completely missed that small panel by the left kick panel. It was that 15amp blue CIG fuse.. what a relief...
