LX 470 Key-Transponder/Immobilizer issues..Please Help!!

LX 470 Key-Transponder/Immobilizer issues..Please Help!!
I've had my truck to the dealer three times, in the last 2 months. And they just can't seem to diagnose the problem.
The immobilizer will not disingage when the key is put in the ignition. The red key "blinking" on the dash continues, to blink after the key is inserted, therefore the truck won't start. This happens randomly.
The 1st trip to the dealer, they replaced the transponder ring that goes around the key, and talks to the ignition. This didn't solve the problem.
The 2nd trip to the dealer, led to a new battery, and a bent fuse prong, in the fuse box. This seemed to work for about a week, and now here were are back to square one.
Has anyone had this happen to their LX?? Can I simply bypass the transponder?
