The new expeditionary mall crawler with plenty of room for soccer ***** up top! Was looking for a cruiser but was wooed by the Lexus leather, wood and sound dampening!

Running board delete to be followed by a new set of 285/75/16's, all new fluids, etc.

Nice ride!
I had those tires on my 2000 LX470 but didn't liked them, so i swapped them for factory originals 275/70/16 instead, and kept my running boards....but that's just me.
Anyway, welcome aboard!

Those are a 285/75/16 which is essentially a 33" tire. For the 18's, I believe the equivalent size is 285/65/18 which is just under 33". 275/70/18 is just over 33" which may be even better.

I went with Nitto Terra Grapplers as they have a great rep and are less expensive than their BFG equivalent. They have great on-road manners and are supposed to be better offroad than many other all terrains.

You can definitely keep the running boards as they don't interfere at all w/ the travel of the tire. I just pulled mine b/c I wasn't using them and wanted a more aggressive look and less to hang up on trails.
