Any more info on how easy it is to convert an LX470 to standard Land Cruiser suspension without the AHC?

Can anyone chime in who has done this? Approximate cost, any CEL's or other issues after? Thank you.

Thinking of getting an LX470 pretty soon and want to get a rough idea what I am in for in case AHC ever goes bad.

Call Christo Slee at Slee Off-road in Golden Colorado. I drove out from Las Vagas and had him convert mine and do some other work. Got the OME lift plus diff drop and some Slee Step rock sliders. They are the best and only takes them a day.

I can do the work my self. Work at Lexus. Not looking to make this thing an off roader just replace with oem parts. Is everything Lx and LC interchangeable on the suspension?

LC torsion bars, shocks, and rear springs drop right in.

If you're worried about the AHC going TU and you work at Lexus, why not connect your prospective LX to TIS and read the AHC system pressure on all 4 corners?

Further, if you're concerned with the AHC overall, there are no significant differences between an LX and a Land Cruiser with navigation.

The suggestion to ask your questions on ih8mud.com was a good one, as was the referral to sleeoffroad.com.
