Bought 2006 LX470
I test drove the GX460 and the LX570. Made an offer on the LX570 (about 5% off MSRP), dealer wouldn't take it (Bellevue, WA). Started looking at LX470 and found a nice one in Tacoma. Drove down there today for a test drive. Traded in my 04 G35 Coupe and now the proud owner of a 2006 Cypress LX470. 35k miles, Certified Pre-Owned. So far I'm quite happy with the purchase and so is the wife.
The cup holder on the left side of the third row is missing and a compartment cover (where the first aid kit would be) is missing as well. What's a good place to buy OEM parts?

Congarts!
Bummer, same color as mine!
I'm sure you will enjoy it for a long time. I too skipped on the LX570 in favour of the 470.
Did you try the dealer for the OEM parts? I sometimes do ebay as well.

I'm in WA state and at least Lexus of Bellevue doesn't seem to offer much in a discount from MSRP for the 570's. I paid ~$44k for the 06 LX470 with 35k miles Certified Pre-Owned.

After about 3 weeks, I'm still very happy with the LX. Just today I was able to take my wife, my 2 kids, my sister-in-law, my niece and my nephew out to dinner in a single vehicle and everyone was able to talk to each other on the ride to the restaurant. I do miss driving my old coupe whenever I see one on the road, but I owned a 96 Pathfinder before so driving a bigger vehicle is not new to me. The only problem I've had was that the rear wiper wan't working, but it was a certified vehicle so they fixed it under warranty (although I don't understand how they missed those dueling inspection). Other than that, I'm only getting about 13.4 mpg in mixed driving with premium according to the computer, will know what actual mpg is when I fill it up. Not great, but my coupe was only getting around 18.5 mpg, so not bad given the size of vehicle. I'm also glad I went with the LX and not the GX every time I see a GX which is about once every few minutes here in Bellevue, WA.

On the 2007 i just purchased the securing bolt on the rear windshield wiper had rusted and they had to cut it off to get the wiper seated in the correct position. Was about a $50 repair, but it was not covered under my Lexus Extended Warranty.
I too traded in my INFINITI G35x for the LX470. So we both are having some of the same adjustments. I also agree, i am very glad i didnt go for the GX, so many of them on the road.
