Default Can i change out the subwoofer on my LX470 myself?

I just bought a 2002 LX 470 and the subwoofer is blown. Is it easy to change out myself? If so would someone be able to give me some instructions? Is this is a common issue with these blowing out? Thank you so much in advance for your response

I just did this and put the JL 6W0-8 in. I'm not that good and this took a while and I also had to modify the woofer enclosure:
1) Trimmed the ribs at the back inside to allow the speaker to fit (depth).
2) Drilled 4 new mounting holes as the ones for the OEM ML speaker were just a bit off. May have been able to make the old ones work but I just drilled new ones.

The one thing that surprised me is although I got a nice solid tight mount of the speaker if the volume and bass is a bit high I get a little buzzing out of it? Anyone had this and what was the solution?

I just took mine out to sell since I installed a new 12" sub. All you have to do is pull off the rear quarter panel, two bolts at the seat belts and then take the four speaker screws out and your done. Shouldn't take more than an hour for a rookie.
