I checked with my Lexus dealer and the Parts manual shows it is no longer available from the factory. So I am looking for a factory/OEM spoiler, from a reputable shop, with the cost of the kit and install. I am in So Cal, so would appreciate a referral if you know of a good shop to have it done.

Loving the LX so far

BTW, this is the look I am looking for in attached image...
will those tail lights fit our 00?

the 06-07 tail lights will only fit the 03-05 tailgate style with the seperate reverse lights. They have a different width at the base, about an inch. Already researched it. Now if you have a land cruiser from 98+ the LEDs will fit just its a matter of wiring harnesses matching at that point...also with the 03-05 i guess the wiring harnesses would have to match up also.

We ought to start a "updating your LX" thread. although it seems the only thing we've figured out so far is chroming our grills we all want the same things:

wheels
spoilers
LEDs

i'm sure no one but me is crazy enough to update their nav cpu & voice command system

edit* and xenons. but that's for those big money people like Jim & 1LoudLX

updating your LX to the 06 standards costs a lot man. I cant see where to justify doing it all. For the people with 03-05 they are so much better off with the tailgates because they can put the LEDs in. We would have to get new tailgates, AHHHHHH!

But if you have questions on what needs to be done to what just PM me...ive spent the last year researching it all because if i had the money i would do it all to look like the 2006. I dont like the 03+ dash thats why i dont care to try and get a new one.

So Carson Lexus may be willing to do something. $567 + shipping is what we're currently looking at. How many people are interested?

Personally, I don't think I am. I'd rather spend the money on the HIDs. If the spoiler were in the $300 range, I'd be much more interested, but I can't justify $600 to change my deflector into a spoiler... but that's me.

oh i see the 06/07 all the time. I hate the turn signals tho, why would they need two bulbs on each side?

heres a picture from the other morning. all three styles of the LX470 in a line. The middle years was in front, newest style in front of me and me, the oldest style at the back of the line.

The 06 was the only one with the spoiler

You could buy that spoiler and then the trim piece for the brake light that comes w/ the factory spoiler. I'm interested. I shot the guy a message about installation.

Reviews of products seem to be good.

Actually, looking at it again, I think the Spoilersmart one is more OE style.

I might take the plunge and try that one. I have a guy that would paint it for $120-ish.
