Default Diff breather frozen

So I noticed that my axle seals as well as my pinion seal was leaking on my 05 LX with 146k. Thought it was odd so I looked to see what they had in common. The diff breather was frozen shut with rust. I completely changed out the breather and added a longer hose that now comes up into the engine bay. Are the seals blown? I filled to spill and notice it's still drips. Was never a lot but a quarter size after a drive. Or just drain some out and see from there? About 1500 mile road trip next week. Wanted to be sure. Thanks
