front differential please help

i just replaced front differential on my 99 lx470 and when i filled it with gear oil and drove it about 6 miles i noticed it was leaking from [nner axle shaft , did i overfil?

How much gear oil did you add?

almost 2 quarts, specs say 1.8 qts and it brought it up to fill plug, if overfilled will it come out at the axle shaft seal?

Fluid should be within ~ 1/4" up to the bottom of the fill plug...not possible to overfill obviously past the bottom.

Sounds to me to be more like the shaft seal.
