Default Joining the club - 05 LX470 123K Beauty

Hi Fellow LX owners. Joined the club yesterday after picking up a rare beauty in fantastic shape and great value in SoCal and drove 500 miles to NorCal with so much joy!

Shes going into shop for suggested maintenance timing belt, water pump etc. Lexus dealer I had inspect said Pin/Rack and CV boots but my shop here wants to look before having to do it, helped with negotiations
Does need tire rods alignement with steering wheel but that’s about it. Been lurking here for a while so proud to finally get into the club.

If you're on the SF peninsula, A+ Imports on Industrial in San Carlos is a top-notch shop, and has a Cruiser-head or 2 at work.

Thanks @hankinid - posted there and feel validated for waiting for a shop nearby that appears highly recommended. Now lets hope its in my budget, fingers crossed.

Congrats!!!

My 2000 LX470 went all the way to 280+K miles before I traded in for another brand new 2013 LX570.

JUST DO THE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON TIME AND YOU ARE GOOD FOR MANY MORE MILES!!
