Well, this is my second LX470. Had a white one before, liked it a lot. I love this one!
My father in law saw the Waag brushguards and the hulky stance and his first words were:
"That's a Lexus on steroids"
I later added the chrome wheels and the gold package.
That's all the mods. The LX came fully loaded, so not much more to add. My wife calls the ride "like first class seating on Lufthansa"!

Mine is a '96, 46K miles with lockers, mostly stock accept the OME J suspension, 295 Nitto tires and ARB bumper.
Parked at the side of the trail having a chat with LandCruiserPhil.
The "dude you were pulled out by a Lexus" comments are priceless!

Congrates and welcome mine is pearl as well (love it), and you will love it all the more as time goes on. You too will find that even when you ride in other nice and waay more powerful SUV's ( Escalade/Denali/Navigator/QX56) you will not feel feel regret, you will truely feel that you've chosen wisely.

2000 LX470 Pearl
Hi
Mine (actually my wife's) is a 2000 Pearl white LX470, w/ 65K miles on it. Awesome car. Earlier this year, we had the Nakamichi head unit replaced with a Kenwood DDX7015 unit with GPS & Satellite radio. Also did the rear entertainment system at the same time. I think it was over $5,000 for the whole thing. Ouch!

Last week traded 04 LS430 for a Black/Grey 06 LX470 (Lexus number 6 for me) I have read that this 06 is an increase of 40 hp--doesn't seem to have as much pep as my wife's RX330.

vibration/thrum in accelerator pedal
I just purchase a 2004 LX two days ago. I was wondering if anyone has felt a vibration in the foot pedal. Always happens between 2200 to 3000 rpm. Is there any recalls or fixes for it?

I too have the same exact setup as yourself. How did the installer fix the gap problem on the headunit? Thanks
