Default Lx470 hid retrofit projector bracket

In my quest to install HID projectors in my LX470 I designed two brackets one for the Mini H1 and one for the D2S. The brackets duplicate the factory attachment points for a simple and quick replacement.

not sure why the first picturre loaded sideways

This was so much easier for me. And the look is awesome.

I've seen those and they do look good if that's what you're after but looks aren't everything and they don't stack up to the light output of the Morimoto' Mini H1's, the D2S 4.0 or the new Bi-LED Morimoto M LED with the same attachment dimensions as the D2S.so they'll fit my brackets. I wanted to retain the factory look with sick light output

Since my first retro years ago I've been sold on the quality of a good projector. I'm in the process of completing a SC430 retro right now. I need to make another rear caps to clear the bulb. Right now the cap I made puts a little pressure on the lower portion of the harness coming off the bulb and shifts the bulb slightly out of center. I will work on a new cap this weekend when I have some more time.

I assume you will be selling these brackets. Good to know if I do another retro down the road. PM me information on them if you want to since this isn't the classified section.

Yeah, I live in Darnestown and work in Rockville. I'm on IH8MUD as well but just read up a lot. Let me know if/when your going on any trail rides.
I'll be posting up pictures and details of my retrofit once competed.
Hopefully in the next few weeks as my "free time" is limited.
