Default Wing/Spoiler on 2003 LX470

I just got an '03 LX470 and would love to have the spoiler/wing (with lights) installed on it. Love the look so much. Does anyone know where I can get a spoiler that fits 2003-2006 LX ? I checked with my Lexus dealer and the Parts manual shows it is no longer available from the factory. So I am looking for a factory/OEM spoiler, from a reputable shop, with the cost of the kit and install. I am in So Cal, so would appreciate a referral if you know of a good shop to have it done.

Loving the LX so far

BTW, this is the look I am looking for in attached image...

I used to have a 2003 LX. I once got a spoiler for it from www.Blankenshipaero.com. It was really good - like original. I think it cost around 300 or 400.

Thanks. I contacted blankenship and they gave me a quote of $395 installed out of their LA location. Not a bad price. What gives me pause is that they need to drill to install, and the spoiler has a 2" gap with the body of the truck. 2" is kinda too large. I'm gonna check the factory install on an LX and see if its that large a gap. I thought it fits snug to the truck. Otherwise, I am ready to pull the trigger on this deal.

It cost me around the same but since i live in the UAE, shipping was like $200ish. Once it arrived, I took it to the Lexus dealer & installation was $60.

All the Land Cruisers that come to this market, come with a similar but larger spoiler from the factory (its drilled). Here, Lexus does not offer the LX spoiler. So I got it shipped from the US. I believe Lexus had to drill holes to install mine.

All the best & keep us posted.

On the original Lexus spoiler, there is a large gap between the spolier and the car.

Spoilers, floor mats, wheel locks are all installed at the ports, not on the vehicle assembly line.

I searched all weekend long. Fortunately, I found one. Unfortunately, this is the only pic I've got (wish I had taken some more).

Thanks.... That spoiler looks so GOOD on the dark-colored LX. What a looker ! Mine is light-colored, cream (sand dollar pearl), and as you can see in this side shot pic, it is in bad need of a spoiler.

Hi Bluestar,

Your LX looks nice.
I am also looking for the rear spoiler.
BTW, where are you located?
Are you into off-roading?

SEE YA..

Hi Seto:

Thanks for the props on my LX.... Yes it is real nice.... Love it. No I am NOT into off-roading. I found a spoiler on EBay for $280 painted to match and with lights, but may have to go with the outfit in LA for the $395 installed. Oh, I am located in San Diego... Hope these answers help.

Bluestar,

I think Longo Lexus is selling the spoiler about $400.
Just FYI.

Called Longo. Cost is $800 + installation + taxes. Ouch !!! Think I'll go with blankenshipaero, in their LA location.

Thanks for the suggestion..... My local Lex dealer cannot even find it as a factory option in their parts manual... Who is kidding whom amongst these stealerships ???
