Side mirrors won't tilt down when in Reverse
Both the side mirrors on my 2001 LX470 won't tilt down when the car is in Reverse. I checked both fuse boxes but couldn't see any blown fuse. Anybody know why this is and how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Stupid question......... did you check that the switch on the door mirror adjustment panel is in the correct position?

I have a 200 Lx470 that when you put it in reverse the mirrors move but but they don't go back to its original position. Dealer said it a known problem but doesn't offer a real fix for it. Anyone have any ideas

Mirrors
My 2001's mirrors goes down and up on the right side, but the left side mirror will only go down and up slightly. how about yours.

Both sides are acting up. I think I'm gonna wait til it gets warm and see if it does the same thing. I bought this truck from a guy in upstate New york. Wondering if the salt has something to do with it.

The passenger side mirror would go down in reverse but would not go back to it's original position during regular driving mode. We had to re-adjust the mirror to bring it back up again. The car is still under warranty and the entire mirror assembly was replaced free of charge. It took about a day to replace.

apparently there was a large number of these type of faults reported with the 2000/2001 LX470s and were passed by the dealers as warranty replacements. At least here (Australia) anyway.
