Default Hood Compartment "Buttons"

I noticed that the plastic covers, under the hood of my 2009 LS are missing a few "buttons". Does anyone know the part number so I can order without having to go to the dealer? Maybe from Sewell?

Really? They aren't a Lexus-specific part?

Nope, dealer sells the same ones for a lot more too. They are universal tabs.

I got them from Ace Hardware, not sure if you have that there.

Local dealer (DFW area) sells it for $1.25, each; I called it "removeable snap for the engine cover panels" and they knew right away what it was. Off-brand equivalents which are sold at local autoparts stores such as Autozone, O'reilly should work as well . . .

Thanks Adam. Yeah we have an ACE and I'll check there. Odd that Home Depot wouldn't carry them but Ace would.

These might be it... Measure the factory clip and the hole before you purchase them.

Ace Hardware had them. Not exactly the same thing...just plain flat head tabs that push in and secure the parts. But they work well and look fine. They were so cheap that I bought extra for if and when I need them later. Thank you, particularly Adam, for the "Ace" tip!
