Will it still fold in automatically when the car is locked?

Yes it will and if your ride is a 460.

What's the reason why it won't fit the 600.

I can't say...no LS 460 sold in Norway..so can't find the difference on the models..
 

...and the seller still states that the LS 460 and 600's have the same mirrors.... There are quite a few LS 460 owners that have mounted these covers on their LS460's ..but so far no one that I have heard from have it on a 600.... I was also told by CJITTY that they did not fit his LS600 either...
If anyone can tell me what is the differences on the LS460 and LS600 mirror cover it would be helpfull :sad:

I think these are the ones that fit. The mirror covers that DO NOT fit are the OEM style with the yellow and blue led light which is what I have sitting in my garage. I think the mirror covers I have were molded off a 2010-12 mirror cover and the manufacturer assumed the 2007-2009 had the same dimensions minus the wedge chrome LED portion but won't admit it

According to Pembroke Pines Lexus Parts website, the 2008 460L and 2008 600hL have the same mirror cover part number prefix of 8791050551XX xx = color option

I believe the manufacturer of the OEM style aftermarket covers is what is wrong. The OP's post with the ebay link I'm pretty sure do fit US versions....I could be wrong

Well that' the problem.. the only thing I know is that they do not fit my european 2008 LS600hL ..but have heard from a few LS460 owners in USA that they have fitted them without a problem ...
I know CJITTY has tried to fit a set on his LS600 too without luck. If he has the same numbers as mine stamped on the inside of the LED mirror covers (W053 LH and W053 RH) we then are certains that they DON'T fit the LS 600 ..

I have sent him a PM today and asked if he could check his numbers...
