Default Any Used Part For Sale.especially 1st Gen.

I know most of the sales people at most of the junkyards here.I can get most of the 1 gen used parts.I have also dealt with few members here and I only do COD.
Ask petrojeff,Cyril and I believe retrodrive.

The steering wheel on my 91 LS is all pealed. Meaning the leather 'paint' has worn off.

How much for a good used one.

Also looking for a 91 oil pan.

Default I ran into the same thing when I got my LS

You are probably looking at a whole steering wheel from the junkyard. This will come without the airbag and I know it will be costly.I also have to call the junkyards and get the correct color.Trust me a whole steering wheel is not worth it because of the cost.A car upholstery shop can redo the steering wheel cover for you.Just let me know if you really want the steering and I will check on a price from the yard. The oil pan might be possible.

Just email me at henboy1@juno.com

Default an oil pan

The oil pan ranges from $50 to $150.
There seems to be an upper and lower pan on these cars. The upper pan is more.

Thanks. I was planning on taking the steering wheel to a shop.

I would need only the lower pan.

Thanks again,

Andrew

Default Ok let me get this straight!

from what i understand from the people at the yard is that there are two pieces to this part. The upper part which is aluminum and more expensive and then the lower part which is metal. The guy claims he has the lower part as you stated.Sorry for wrong quote and but both pieces will cost $300 and the lower is $125.
If this guy still has the part by the time you decide to go ahead with it then the price wouldn't change.

They also claim the dealer wants $600 for I guess both pieces.
Unbelievable!

Thanks for checking for me.

The metal pan on mine is a little scratched & dented , but not leaking - and not interfering with oil pickup.

Seems a lot for the metal pan - I think I'll skip it for now.

Thanks again for your help.

Andrew

Default Guys these are some prices from the top of my head at the yard!

My buddy at the yard currently have these parts. If I have to go to another yard it might either be more or less. These are some prices from the top of my head.
2.rear spindle and suspension arms=$130
This is incase the bushings on the hub is worn, lexus will not sell just the busshings but the whole spindle.
3.master door/window switch on driver side=$125
4.Rack and pinion=$300
This comes with both tie rod ends.Ask retrodrive how clean his rack was when I shipped it.
5
6.Rotors=$45 each(I wouldn't advice on this)Get the new
7.hood=$400-$600
8.upper control arm in the front(common TSB)=$120
9.I currently have the hood shocks for $100(both)
10.Center woodgrain console and woodgrain ashtray=$100
Guys, for your info the 90/91/92 all share the same Ac display unit(notorious TSB) and 93 and up is different. You are better buying one of a newer model like a 92.

I will post some prices later but mind you that I don't make anything from this sale but the incentive I get from these yards is free parts depending on how many orders I get.
