Just picked-up a Jade Green '98 LS with 22k miles - what a dream!

But now my beloved '95 LS has to go to make my bank happy (actually, it was PeopleFirst - best auto loan experience I've had; highly recommended).

This '95 has always been under Lexus bumper-to-bumpter warranty; I bought it certified 12/98.

It has 82k miles, moonstone silver/grey with tan interior, all dealer services including timing belt and new Lex windshield, 6-cd in dash, non-Nak, chromes, Lexus hands-free (analog) tele, set of Turanzas with 7k miles on them, etc. Condition is overall excellent, inside and out - if anything needed fixing, Lexus took care of it.

Thanks to ClubLexus members that responded to my classified ad on a '95 LS400 for sale; it's gone on to a new Lexus family.

After advertising in the LA Times, several online services, and on ClubLexus - it sold to a couple walking near my house and they saw the "For Sale" sign on the LS and decided to replace her 15-year old Volvo 740.

Congrats on the sale. I tried to sell mine also (a '96) but was not successful.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you let go of your 95? What was your asking price? Thanks for the help.

I sold mine for just under $20k. I know the market for these vehicles (and a lot of other items) is real soft right now. Of course, when I bought my '98 LS, that helped!
