94 LS Driver seat DIY FIX
Hi everyone!
My seat was pretty worn when I got from the day that I bought my car so I was looking to replace it with another used one. I have searched thru forum and found a couple of threads about switching seats from another year etc. But it was at least 400$ deal, I wanted to stay stock and cheap as possible. So I looked @ all junk and salvage yards around my area for similar car and all I found is seats worse or like mine condition, the only one was alright is passenger side one, but mine on that side was ok, so I skipped it and decided to forget about it for a while until I got an idea to take that seat apart and replace just the leather. So I took my pass seat apart first and found that with a little help of my knife I can try to make it fit! Today I finally took my driver side apart and replace the bottom piece with one from the other side. Come out better than I expect! Here a few pics of it! Now I just have to go to a junk yard and get other pass seat (50$) and bolt it in!
