Default Brake Question

Hey all, we have a 2019 F sport and the brake seems odd to me. The brakes don't actually start grabbing until almost half travel to the floor. The first half does absolutely nothing. It's been like that since new. We also had a 16 GS and the brakes grabbed as soon as your foot touched it even at 20k miles.

Seems odd for there to be so much pedal travel on a brand new car. Is it just how the car is? I've never driven a different LS before.

Thanks everyone!

There may be air in the lines. I would bring it into the dealer and have it checked out.

I noticed my brakes weren't as responsive as I would like either. I remember driving my LS and switching to my wifes Maserati and having to adjust my braking pressure because her brakes were much more sensitive than mine.

Yeah I plan to for a transmission tsb also. It just slams into first really hard when coming to a stop. Bucks the car pretty badly.

Was trying to make sure it was this specific car and not me not being used the brakes. This forum doesn't seem to have many people lol

Even when getting to the bite point, it seems super unconfident too. I feel more confident braking in our truck or Jeep with big 35" tires.

For an "F Sport" I would expect more confidence in braking than a Jeep lol. Might be just mine, was expecting more people to chime in.

doesn’t sound right to me. Try driving another LS on the lot for a comparison.
