Greetings; As it gets darker earlier each day, I noticed that when I approach the car with my key fold in my pocket, the four door handles light up, but the light beneath each side mirror do not light up so you can see the ground near the front doors. The lights are there, but does not seem to go on. I have tried locking, and in dark places, but no vanity outside lights beneath the side mirrors. Anyone with this issue. Does not seem to be a switch as these lights are automatic. I have had Lexus vehicles many years, and never an issue. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

 

Didn’t realize there were lights under the side mirrors. I thought it was the cameras only. Have you ever seen them light up?

 

Good point. I do not remember if they lit up like my different GS and IS Models. Those could be cameras. Lexus dealer says should light up. Going to dealer Friday. You would think they would know if lights or cameras.

 

I don't think those are lights under the mirrors. Just cameras.

 

I dont have one under mine but hey could be different on the luxury model.

 

The puddle lights on the LS500 aren't under the side view mirrors they are under each door handle.

 

I know that, I’m answering the op’s question as there is nothing under the mirror.
