Default LS 500 Issues

We've had our 2018 LS 500 for 5 months/1500 miles. I don’t mean to go on a rant here but, I have taken it back to the dealer twice already to fix small annoyances such as an inop. seat memory-- fixed with new programming. On the second visit there were other minor gripes that all came back with could not duplicate, so nothing was accomplished. There is also an issue with the heater. I know it will work to heat the car but I have to increase the fan manually to get any heat. When it’s 49 degrees F outside and 49 degrees F on the inside, the fan speed should increase, once the coolant reaches temperature. The tech who worked on it wrote in his notes that I should consider turning the “Auto A/C off. This is my fourth LS (02, 11, 15,) and I have never had to do this, nor should I, in the Flagship of the brand. Additionally, when using my iPod as a music server, it wouldn’t allow me to go directly back to the Playlists. No one knew what was wrong until I spoke with one of the dealer triage phone folks who told me to push and hold the on-off **** to “reset” the system. Works perfectly now…we’ll if it persists. The run-flats are terrible. Noisy and hard riding. Had them replaced today with Michelins and could tell the difference in the first thirty feet. Very quiet on the freeway/streets and much better ride.[/QUOTE]
