Has anyone had the opportunity to use the wifi capability in either 2018/2019 LS 500 ? If so, can you share your experience here ?

Used it and stopped using it. I found it useless for me since it works only when car is on (obviously), so I would rather use my cellphone. if it worked when car was off I would have a use for my camera. Otherwise I dont have a use, especially being in the city maybe in a rural area it may benefit someone. Speed was around 27-MBPS

I've been using T-Mobile Syncup and Drive for the last two years. The device costs about $70, it connects to the OBD connector, they provide 2 GB of high speed data a month and it costs $10/month. You can also track where your car is at any point in time and get diagnostics, etc. It stays on for about 5 - 10 minutes after you shut off the car. I haven't tried the Verizon service in the car as yet.

Nice post - I'll have to look into that option - Not sure that I'm the type that would make much use of it, but it could really come in handy when traveling long distances.

Doesn't give me the option to get for our cars, not listed. Although I would not be able to use this since I use my Blackvue camera in the OBD port.

I'm still in the trial period. I called them and they quoted $20 monthly for the 6Gb plan.
