Alexa App and LS 500-2018 Model
Happy New Year, I was told by Lexus engineers a few weeks ago that at the beginning of 2019, they would do a software update for us owners of Lexus 500 SL 2018, so we would have Alexa like the 2019 models. We, as owners of Lexus 500 LS, have the new 2.0 Enform so should be no issues. I have not seen anything. Anyone out there heard of this issue?
Also, engineers admit they can give use 2018 LS Lexus Apple Play if enough complain. It is a matter of a hardware update and software update done through satellite. WE have the 2.0 Enform which operates the 2019 LS 500. I keep calling, so do the same.
As for Alexa, everyone tell me it is coming for us very soon.
Thoughts?

There is a new Multimedia update for the 2019 LS which finally allows for ios Lexus+Alexa. Surprisingly it seems to have improved my biggest complaint with my car, the ML system didn't sound good to me. I think, don't know for sure, that they changed the sound profile. To me it sounds much better. Thank you Lexus!
