I was thinking of waiting until next December anyway as I prefer not to buy a car in it's first model year; also, back in 2013 I was able to negotiate a 20% discount off my LS460 so I'm hoping next year I can do better.

Its possible in some area's but for some dealers that are starting to sell more they are not dropping it to low. I think $14K is not enough as minus that $8K incentive and $6K is all they are taking off. Shoot for $17K or higher at least if not try other dealerships you are willing to go too.

Me neither, but many people want to try to get the same deals we got.

Best offers i have received is between $16k - $18k off MSRP...Shooting for $20k off and we'll see if dealer wants to bite.

It's probably better to state what percentage of discount rather than how much you got off of MSRP without stating the MSRP number. New LS500/F in my area are range from 80k to 105k. 20K off of 80K is more significant than 105k.
With that said, 2019 are out. Left over 2018 should be heavily discounted. I don't know about you guys, but 2019 having CarPlay over the 2018 is a deal breaker for me.

I have apple car play in 3 of my other vehicles. I never use it.

I too thought that I wanted CarPlay in my lexus, but since I never use it in other vehicles, why would I use it in THIS car? And I can get a great deal on the car too.

No brainer for me.

I can careless about Lexus GPS. On some occasion, it sent me on a much longer route that is absolutely unnecessary and dumb. For this reason, I always use google map on my phone. So having Carplay will be beneficial to me.
Tech is cheap and gets outdated quick, I get that. But having some latest tech should be expected on this type of vehicle.

Picked up a new 2018 LS 500 Luxury pack that stickered around $101.5k for little over $78k
I was looking at F sport earlier but with the Performance Pack it's over $100k without Rear seat goodies, so decided to pull the trigger on Lux pack.

Congratulations. That's a beautiful car. Can you please tell us how you negotiated your deal? I'm planning on leasing one this month.

Thanks! You will need to find a dealer that still has few 18s LS left in stock, Once you identify a dealer send them an inquiry online with their rock bottom price.
They will probably come back with $10-$15k off MSRP including Lexus Cash/Rebates , Discounts etc at first but stay persistent and tell them you want 20% off MSRP on leftover units.

Idea is to take advantage of all the rebates that are being offered including Conquest rebate which gives you additional $3k.
For Conquest rebate you will need to show that someone in the household owns competitive luxury brand vehicle.

If you are interested in Leasing and are open to buying it out of state let me know, Dealer i purchased my car from might have couple more remaining units in stock.

Good luck and let us know how the negotiation goes.

Went out tonight to see if I could get $20k off and was able to get down to $17k off. It wasn't my ideal color so I passed and figured next yr might have better options.
