High performance brake pads have a tendency to squeak in cold weather. So if only f-sport owners have this complaint, it's kind of understandable. My Corvette squeaked from time to time.

For the transmission issue, might be just a software issue that could be fixed with another update .

If I'm not mistaken, the LS is the first lexus to have this engine and transmission combination so first buyers are the guinea pigs

There was a similar transmission issue on the 2007 and 2008 cars. I only experienced it once on a 2008 that I bought in December 2008. They applied a firmware update and I never had a problem with the transmission after that. So while Lexus did release one firmware update that helped a bit, it certainly hasn't fixed the issue completely. I will let Lexus know, and suggest that everyone else who has the issue do the same.

Well I don't think it's that time to Lawyer up - as with most things in the world you always run the chance of having issues. None of this is a perfect science and things will happen, however, it's incumbent upon the customers to keep the company honest by continuously voicing opinions, concerns and problems. If that company cares about it's brand they will step up. Toyota is a company I like, trust and who "LOVES" their customers and produce vehicles that maintain their value, are of the highest quality and consider their relationship with the world an honor and privilege. For those of us who may experience a problem with their vehicle, be it a Toyota or Lexus - have a talk with your service tech or the dealership general manager. Trust me, Toyota has turned a new leaf since that accident in 2010 with the sticking accelerator in a manner that I've never seen with any manufacturer in their relationship with customers. Yep, I definitely a Toyota fanboy, not car enthusiast, but definitely know a winning company when I experience it. Can't say that about many other's.

Anyone have purchased a 2019 (now with Apple Carplay!) and got any decent deals?

2018s have almost a months worth of inventory on the ground. I`d wager, if you are, you can pick up a LS for a good deep discount

Anyone have any updates with this? It seems Lexus had a bad month last month when I started looking. Just started to do some inquires online and best deal I saw (without driving in) was 68K for a 91K MSRP LS. The dealers in my area seem to be all over the map with what they will discount. But it seems they have a lot of 2018 models still on their lots.

With Lexus offering $7,500 cash did anyone see a mark down of 20% off of MSRP PLUS this Lexus Cash?

if you found 26% off already....you already are basically at the bottom. You can always try for the additional 3K that you are looking for but it would be pulling very hard

Agreed. That deal is very fair. I'm pretty sure they'll lose money from the floor plan

I bought a car Lexus GS F RWD 2019 modal from ********** on lease $1009 per month, on the first month I paid $4,398 including first-month payment, bank fees, and other charges
MSRP of $85,345, residual value of $40,112.15
is this a good deal?

Thx but F-Sport is not nearly the same thing as a real "F" car...you must turn that Hobby into a Sport my friend...just not an F-Sport. It's a great car and I'm sure you'll love it but it's just not the same experience as driving a GSF (or even an ISF) trust meeeee

It's like saying instead of getting Nick Nolte to star in my movie I settled for Gary Busey instead. They may look similar but they are not the same by a long shot

be well

Best,
Steve

You are posting this in the wrong forum as this is the LS forum. You want to post this is the GS-F forum.

It sucks as I see the dealership that wouldn't sell me the car for the price I wanted, now selling for the price I wanted actually a little less. They have a bunch of 18 cars still on the lot. The dealership I purchased my car from had no 18 after I purchased mine so I guess some have favored more than other dealership's.

Similar situation with me. I inquired about a LS at one dealer. They were firm on their offer. Went to another dealer and they were willing to give a good deal. A couple weeks after I bought from the second dealer, the first dealer is asking if I'm still interested and the same car I inquired about is still sitting.
