The only thing I miss is the "Hold" button on the steering wheel. It has now been moved off the wheel to the left of the CD slot (near the driver's right knee). I used to turn on brake hold at a stop light and then turn it off when I was driving again, so I miss being able to toggle it on the steering wheel.

I used it very briefly but I would agree it’s better. The voice recognition on my car I don’t even bother with. I do use Siri Eyes Free.

Yes Siri / Google Assistant is very helpful and infinitely more intelligent!

What's the advantage of toggling it on and off every time you come to a stop as opposed to pressing it once when you first get in the car?

Yeah the only time I turn it back off is when I'm parking, or if traffic becomes bumper to bumper, etc. Otherwise I just leave it on.

I do a lot of city driving and prefer to have the car inch forward slowly once I take my foot off the brakes.

With the massage, is it strong or weak? Does it feel like an actual useful feature or a novelty item? Thanks

During my test drive the sales rep turned it on without my knowledge. It certainly made a difference! Yes it definitely is noticeable. Novelty? Yeah, I think so..... I mean how many times have you thought to yourself, "Gee I wish this driver's seat had a massage function!" ?

From discussions I’ve had with people who have cars with good massage functions, like S Classes, etc. once you have it you love it and use it a lot.

I am now addicted to the brake hold and miss it bad in my wife's new Jeep and any rental cars we get. Whose brilliant idea was it to move the switch off the steering wheel? Really stupid, anyone who uses this daily wants it on the wheel. I hate when engineers make bad decisions.

It makes a difference though not as strong as a Brookstone massage chair , for safety reasons. Also, I believe it is pneumatic and does not use actual rollers. I use it a lot on long trips and it does eliminate the need to stop as often to get up and stretch.

It's on the dash on every other Lexus model. I assume they wanted to place it in a familiar location across the model lineup. Personally, I like it placed elsewhere other than the wheel. Less button clutter on the wheel and I'm someone who turns it on and leaves it on from the beginning of the drive. Others use it differently though based on the comments in this thread.
