Default Dealer told me it is actually 2019 model yr?

Not sure. I was checking out the current model year on the lot asking for 30% off sticker.

Was told the next gen LS is modeled as a 19 even tho it will be available sometime late Nov, early Dec of this yr.

Also was informed that it will be a V6 ( I was shocked), haven't really been keeping tabs.

Was also told the AMG Mercedes line is being discontinued in America starting in 2019 due to emission standards.

Dealer is full of it lol. Mercedes is expanding AMG, not discontinuing AMG. LS500 is a 2018 MY.

Mercedes would downsize their entire AMG lineup to 4 cylinders to meet emissions, before they would kill off the division. S Class with the quad turbo setup

I can't wait to get rid of my dinosaur LS even though it is only 15 it is really feeling dated compared to my other cars (17 E class and 16 RX) technology and style as I think it really was at end of its life cycle even when I got it almost 3 years ago.. Really hope they are on target for fall, I think if the F sport holds up I will quickly make that my daily driver and RX will be given a break a lot...I have a feeling it's going be a beast I love how they made it sporty looking and went away from that old man car look.

Well fingers crossed, we will see!!!!!!

Question is how bad are you willing to get rid of that 2015 LS? I am sure many on this site will be willing to take it off your hands given a ridiculously low price.

My St Louis Lexus dealership told me yesterday that they expect to receive their first LS500s in late-Feb or March! Quite a long wait before I can lay eyes on one!

If that is the case, they might as well make it an early release 2019 model. I'd be surprised if they don't. I wonder if something is up with all the delays.

Yep, I agree. If that's the case I'm sure it will be a 2019 model.

Lexus is just REALLY slow.
