Default LS designer took inspiration from C3 Corvette
I don't see a lot of commonality between the LS and the Corvette, but according to this post on the HP, the designer took a lot of inspiration from the C3 model. It's a pretty interesting story!

The C3 is a pretty car, but I get turned off when I think about how under powered they got towards the end. Fortunately, it doesn't sound like LS will be under powered...

Now we find out the inspiration for the LS500 was a disco Corvette. How much weirder is this story going to get?
