Based on past Lexus practice, except with the LFA, you cannot option out of a certain trim item without giving up on other items at the same time that you might really prefer, they think they should decide for the customer what combinations to get with no flexibility, and that really sucks

I don't believe interior colors are tied to option packages with Lexus in that way. That's never been my experience.

But certain trims are often tied to certain interior colors, and they absolutely refuse to change their predetermined combinations.

Also, if you do not like Alcantera, you cannot option out of it with the Performance/Track package for the LC, you cannot get the 2 tone red/black interior with red paint for the RC, etc. .....
