I own both and 02 and a 07 and care for a near perfect low mile 06......they are the same. The 460 simply doesn't hide faults as well as a 430, you can have equally worn suspension but the 430 conceals the wear better since it doesn't handle or ride as well and the 460s multilink system is much more reliant on all links being intact.
The only real points of difference between the two are the brake system and engine, the brakes are hugely in favor of the 430 since it uses a normal system. The 460 however has a big edge in handling and braking response as well as the VIDM system being able to correct your line automatically mid corner without any input from you.
The engine in the 430 is also IMO a longer serving unit due to the belt and general format, it's far weaker output wise and also loses on MPG but it will outlast the 1UR. However even that said I vastly perfer the 1UR AA80E combo since it's far more reactive and just outright more powerful and didn't resist you driving aggressively vs a stock 430. Both are not that fast cars but the 460 is at least competent.....that said even at 252k my 430 can still hit 160 and beats it's factory 1/4 mile by .1
Interior on the 430 is more thought out and higher quality but a replaced 460 interior like mine is better than a nearly new 430 interior in all functional aspects.
I like to put it this way, a 430 is a better technical example where all the little things were thought about but the 460 is a better car.
