Possible Gas Gap issue?

No codes are popping up for my 2009 ls 460 when I check and this light still turns off and on periodically,Could an old Gas cap be the issue?

I had a similar issue as well. I replaced ventilation hoses under the hood and it went away. Upon inspection of the old hoses, I found out multiple cracks causing a leak in the system.
