For the first time in 26 years, I no longer own a Lexus. Today, I made a seamless sale of my 2014 LS460 F Sport to Carvana. I'd only had the car about a year and a half, and as many of you know, I just wasn't a fan of the stiff and rather noisy ride. The good news is I actually got $500 more than I paid for it. So I feel very very lucky. My wife and I agreed that there is no rush to purchase another vehicle since I spend so much time at home which is where we both work. I'm certainly leaning toward a Genesis G90 and we'll see how that goes. If you ever plan on selling your car, go on the Carvana app or online and get a quote. They offered me $4,000 more than the other similar places. Cheers!
Lol. Actually I subtracted again and it's really 27 years a Lexus owner. Bought a 92 ES300 in 94. A 94 LS400 in 98. An 05 LS430 in around 2008. An 08 LS460 in roughly 2014 and the 14 F Sport in 2019. Looks like the streak ends here for now. About to finalize the deal on a different brand.
I know the LS500 is not loved here but I'd drive it if I was in the market. But if it wasn't as great as my LS... then I think I'd likely end up looking at Genesis also.
Yep. The F model is F-sport. Without the F its a base model. Sorry if that created confusion but the F-sport is about performance more than comfort.
The major differences between the base and the F include some very specific tuning for the adaptive air suspension which lowered the car. Also, the wheels are 19" vs the 18" on the base model.
