Am I am imaging or the lower rearward control arm is off the center at the cross member mount.

It's US specs so it wouldn't surprise me if it is 🙄

I bought the car from a guy that brought here, and I've done a tonne of work to it so far ... and more to come as you can see.

To me it looks as low quality bushing were used. I am not sure about bushing condition but the metal part of the control arm just slid off the bushing.

Yes you are spot on Anfanger, very cheap quality bushes were fitted before. Condition of all bushes are gone, they all need replaced with either Lexus parts or decent aftermarket ones.

Look into NISTO bushings, it seems to be of a good quality.

Ok thanks, I will check if I can get them here. I was told by the car shop that I need to replace all control arms along with bushes and ball joints ...

I see, then bushings replacement is not an option for you. I believe, there are many Toyota/Lexus warehouses in your country. You should be able to find a good deal. Even with expedited shipping to US, it is 50% off price for OEM parts.

​​​​​​ You cant get the lexus genuine bushings alone it comes with the control arms and that will be expensive .
