Default Headlight Bulb Or Ballast?

Hello all, on my 2010 LS, my passenger low beam bulb goes on and off a good amount. When it goes out I can switch the headlights on and off, and it will come back on. But then it will go out again sometimes. Kind of random. The bulb looks like a different color and has slight flickering, so it makes me think it is the bulb. However, there is no bulb out message on the dash which makes be believe it could be a ballast. If anyone has delt with a similar experience, let me know.

It's the bulb and I don't remember the car telling me anything when mine started going bad.

It is most likely the bulb but ballasts are supposed to last about 10 years. Swap the other headlight bulb over to that side and see if it is better or just buy a new bulb and give it a shot.

My wife’s Acura TL had the same issue and it was the bulb, fortunately. Cheap and easy fix
