Hey Tec80,

not real familiar with working on the LS… I’ve got a 14 AWD L with similar symptoms. Is the rear trans mount easy to do with Jack stands in a drive?

can the shim be added without removing the mount?

AWD has 3 transmission mounts, the exhaust in the way of 2 side mounts. However, it is possible to replace both without removing the exhaust by lowering and rising the transmission. At least, I was able to.

thanks for the reply.

I have the same symptoms described above…slight vibration with deceleration but goes away when I pop it in neutral.

if it’s something I can tackle myself, I’m willing to give it a go. If it’s a pain in the drive, I will likely bring it in.

I am not sure what your skills are. I am just a DIY person, it did take a little longer than I thought it would.

oops, I meant to quote you so you can see I replied
to you . Here is my comment!

Is that what you ended up doing with yours? I see your thread in which you stated they replaced both axles and the CV support bearing. Did that end up not actually being the fix for your similar issue?

I also read you talking about the drive shaft alignment being out of wack and that there are some different size spacers that could be installed.
