Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Sam. Live in Perth Western Australia.
Am not new to Lexus, over the years have had a SC400, GS300, and 2 LX470's. Then went over to Mercedes and BMW (S430, E500, CL55 AMG, 750Li etc...).TBH always missed the build quality, reliability and quietness of Lexus, so finally I've purchased a 2008 LS600hL with 72,000km on the clock. 4 seater with the executive package, great condition inside and out. Full service history with the Hybrid battery changed by Lexus in 2018. Floor mats are a bit dirty but I'm sure we can clean them without too much hassle. So is a deal I couldn't let go by.
The car is over is east in Sydney (unfortunately couldn't go to see it due to COVID-19 travel restrictions here in Australia) and I cant wait to get it over here in Perth. Takes about 18 days with transport company.
Have attached a few photos the transport company took for me. Let me know your thoughts
Congrats on the car, Titan! Welcome back to the fold! That's a great looking car with low miles. Hope you get to enjoy the ottoman seat while someone drives you around. Best wishes for many kilometers and years of driving pleasure!
Nice! Clean looking car! And on the steering wheel thing--I once rented a car in Perth/Fremantle and the steering wheel was also on the wrong side! (US Navy, I had the pleasure of visiting WA two or three time and the people were super friendly!)
Congratulations and welcome to the 600 club! Surprised that the hybrid battery required replacement at such low mileage.
Thanks, unsure why it was replaced... thought maybe it was on the years (nearly 10)

I grew up (in the early 90’s) visiting the US Navy ships when they used to dock in Fremantle and Garden Island. The days of being able to board them for a tour is long gone. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay in WA. Hope you have visit again once all this craziness has subsided some day!
Hey man g'day from Queensland. You're brave buying a hybrid. But on the plus side you got the good backseat, I haven't seen many of those around in the 460's for sale in Oz.
Grats! She sure is a beauty! Looks cleaned and pampered. Excellent info on the new battery. That's the big ticket. Enjoy that new ride when it arrives.
It's interesting that it has the 19 inch 7 spoke wheels with the Executive Class Seat package. In the U.S., that option was coupled with 18 inch 10 spoke wheels, at least in 2010 to 2012 models. I'm not sure about the 2008 and 2009 cars though.

That's a very nice car! With the hybrid batteries having been replaced I can see why you couldn't pass it up! I don't understand why they would sell it with dirty floor mats though. I mean I assume they detailed everything else, right? Enjoy!
Yeah, I visited in the late 80's. I remember hiking in a nearby national park on Christmas, and that it was quite hot. I think there were protesters because some of the ships in the carrier group were powered by nuclear reactors. Long time ago... LOL.
