It’s not a nightmare car lol, it has an advanced air suspension that delivers a great ride with the trade off of a higher repair costs.

I remember when mine did this. I literally went home and ordered Fortune Auto coilovers and sold my air struts.

This, if you don't want to have to deal with the extra expense or the ride is just simply not one you like for whatever reason then it's a valid option at that point to buy a version without the option. For me I didn't want the complexity and since I have a older LS (02) it made no sense from a parts cost vs cars overall value labor aside. It would have ruined the point of a cheap daily.

If you have the system you need to be prepared to repair it when it breaks, not if it does since they ALL will on any brand or model and for certain if you have a German car. Lexus is weird since some of them never fail but the 460 seems to lean more toward the German side of not if but when.

Air suspension failures are commonplace on the 430 and 400 as well. When we traded the 98 LS400 in it was leaning to one side when turned off too. Air suspension in general is just a failure prone setup.

Mine does that on occasion. I have the data systems controller. I normally take the cable out and put it back in when the car is off and it fixes it for me. I am afraid of the cost of getting new suspension so the workaround is going to have to do for now.

After buying my 08 460L I noticed on the first day the left side sat way higher then the right

Dealer said its not adjustable and cant help me

I literally had to do it myself and I'm not mechanically inclined

There is a small height controller link on all 4 corners of the car , they need to be adjusteadju made a thread on it for anyone who wants to do it

You would have to dig it up somehow I'm on my phone right now and cant do it unfortunately, but it's a fairly easy and no cost fix
